The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) acquitted Oluwatobiloba Amusan, and Senator John Owan Enoh, the honourable minister of sports development, expressed enormous relief and excitement on behalf of all Nigerians who love sports.

Tobi Amusan, Nigeria’s star hurdler, faced a whereabouts rule violation charge filed by the World Athletics and the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA). However, CAS has dismissed the charges, affirming that Amusan did not violate Rule 2.4 of the World Athletics Anti-Doping Rules (WA ADR).
The ruling stated: “Accordingly, the Challenged Decision in which the WADT considered that Tobi Amusan did not violate Rule 2.4 of the WA Anti-Doping Rules (WA ADR) and that no period of ineligibility should be imposed on the Athlete is confirmed.”
