Stockbrink keen on Flying Eagles Chance

David Stockbrink, former captain of Borussia Mönchengladbach’s Under-19 team, is aiming for a position with Nigeria’s Flying Eagles after recently joining Warta Poznań’s Under-19 team.

Stockbrink, who has a German father and a Nigerian mother, expressed his enthusiasm for joining the Polish team and his desire to make an influence that will be acknowledged by the Nigeria Football Federation.

“My mum from Nigeria has told me a lot of pleasant stories, and it would be great featuring for the Flying Eagles soon. I pray I get monitored by Nigerian football officials at Warta Poznań,” said the 17-year-old left-back.

The defender, known for his overlapping runs, had a successful stint as captain at Borussia Mönchengladbach Under-19 but is now ready for new challenges in Poland.

“I had a great time being captain at Mönchengladbach Under-19, but I expect a better career at Warta Poznań. I enjoy fresh challenges, and the setting here is excellent for me to realize my target of being a world-renowned footballer,” Stockbrink stated.

Born on October 30, 2006, Stockbrink has been warmly welcomed by the technical crew and teammates at Warta Poznań Academy.

Standing at 1.82 meters and weighing 72 kilograms, he is determined to secure a first-team spot when the season starts. His doggedness and talent, combined with his unique background, make him a player to watch as he aims for both club and international success.
