Super Eagles head coach, Eric Chelle, has confirmed that he will field his strongest team for Nigeria’s historic international friendly against Russia, set to take place in Moscow on Friday, June 6.
This match will mark the first-ever full international encounter between Nigeria and Russia.
“The core of the team from the recent matches against Rwanda and Zimbabwe will be given another opportunity to play in this friendly against Russia,” Chelle told SCORENigeria.
In addition to the friendly against Russia, the Super Eagles are also scheduled to participate in a four-nation tournament in England later in June. The tournament will feature Ghana, Jamaica, and Trinidad and Tobago, with all four nations vying for victory in the competition.
