Nigerian music director and cinematographer ThankGod Omori Smith, widely known as TG Omori or Boy Director, has reassured fans of his return in 2025 following recent health challenges.
On August 26, 2024, Omori underwent an unsuccessful kidney transplant at St. Nicholas Hospital in Lagos, with his only brother as the donor. Despite this setback, he remains optimistic and determined to make a comeback.
In a series of tweets shared on Monday, Omori emphasized the power of mindset in overcoming illness. Accompanying a photo of himself, he wrote: “It’s mind over matter. If the mind is defeated, it’s only a matter of time before the body falls. Pain has no power over me. I will be back in 2025. Stay in love!”
