Popular Nigerian Artiste Omah Lay discusses how previous musicians cleared the path for him in the Nigerian music scene.
He identified the musicians he thinks were essential to his rise to fame in the music industry in a recent interview.
He mentioned Burna Boy, Olamide, Davido, and Wizkid, saying that these artists helped him to get to where he is now.
In his words;
“I feel like I wouldn’t have been here if it weren’t for the previous generation – Burna, Wiz, Davido and Olamide – they are the reasons why I am here right now and I am doing it like this. Yeah, I can’t say for sure what exactly it is that I am doing differently; I’m just doing me and it is what it is.”
