President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, has approved the appointment of Jami’u Abiola as Senior Special Assistant to the President on Linguistics and Foreign Matters, effective from November 14, 2024.
A statement from Segun Imohiosen, Director of Information & Public Relations, on behalf of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, noted that the appointment aligns with the provisions of the Certain Political and Judicial Office Holders (Salaries and Allowances, etc.) Act 2008, as amended
Prior to this appointment, Jami’u Abiola served as the Special Assistant to the President on Special Duties in the Office of the Vice President.
In his new role, President Tinubu has tasked him with collaborating closely with the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs, leveraging his expertise and experience to contribute effectively to the administration’s goals.
