Tinubu’s academic records to be released as US Court grants Atiku’s request 

Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) presidential candidate, has asked Chicago State University to reveal President Bola Tinubu’s academic records.

The request was granted by the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.

Judge Jeffrey Gilbert, a United State magistrate issued the decision on Tuesday, directing Chicago State University (CSU) to give the plaintiff, Abubakar Atiku, “all relevant and non-privileged documents” within two days.

“This issue is before the Court on Atiku Abubakar’s Application pursuant to 28 U.S.C. 1782 for an Order Directing Discovery from Chicago State University for Use in a Foreign Proceeding (the “Application”) [ECF No. 1]. The judge decided, “The Application is allowed for the grounds outlined below.

Lawyers for Tinubu have contended that their client is not.
