In honor of her late father’s posthumous birthday today, afrobeat musician Tiwa Savage has taken to social media.
As you may remember, on July 19, 2021, the Afrobeat queen made the announcement of the father’s passing.
According to Tiwa Savage, the transition was peaceful and he fought bravely till the very end, even though he had gone through tough times in the past.
Nearly three years after his death, the singer honors her father’s posthumous birthday by sharing a picture of both of them on her Instagram story.
In her words;
