Tobi Amusan Wins Women’s 100m Hurdles, Makes Semis

World record holder, Tobi Amusan has won her heat with 12.49 seconds on the clock in the women’s 100m hurdles.

United States, Alaysha Johnson finished 2nd with a time of 12.61s while Jamaica’s Janeek Brown came 3rd with a time of 12.84s

The Nigerian track and field sensation has now qualified for the semi-finals of women’s 100m Hurdles at the Paris 2024 Olympics.

The semi-finals will be held on Friday, August 9, while the final is slated for the penultimate day of the athletics event, Saturday, August 10.

This is Amusan’s third consecutive Olympic Games.
