The Federal Capital Territory, FCT Police Command, has denied claims that Nigerian social media personality Martins Vincent Otse, also known as Verydarkman, VDM, was arrested.
Recall that on Sunday reports emerged that the social critic was arrested by operatives of the Nigerian Police for allegedly exposing a criminal act.
However, the Police Public Relations Officer of the FCT Command, SP Josephine Adeh, said Verydarkman was only invited for questioning.
She clarified that VDM was questioned over allegations of cyberstalking, cyberbullying and defamation of character and was released immediately after he made a statement on the allegations levelled against him by an individual.
