WAFCON 2026 qualifier: Super Falcons, Benin Republic clash in final round

Benin Republic will face Nigeria’s Super Falcons in the final round of the qualifiers for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).

The Amazons advanced to this stage by defeating Sierra Leone 5-2 on aggregate in the first round.

They won the first leg 2-1 at home and secured a 3-1 victory in the return leg.

The two-legged qualifier will take place between October 20 and 28, 2025.

Benin will host the first leg, while Nigeria will host the second leg.

The overall winner of the qualifier will secure a spot at the 2026 WAFCON.

The Super Falcons, with nine titles, are the most successful team in the history of the competition.
