Nigerian singer, Victony says that he is not in a hurry to reach the level of fame that his colleagues Rema and Asake have achieved.
He said this while reacting to the claims by some social media users that his debut album ‘Stubborn’ wasn’t “commercially successful” because he didn’t have “haters” to post negative comments that will make it trend on social media.
Victony responded, saying the assumption was “dumb,” and that those pushing the narrative have high expectations for the album beyond his current stature in the music industry.
In his words;
“Lmao, Victony need more haters gotta be the dumbest shit I seen cos what’s the rush? Everyone wanna be Rema and Asake in 2 hours?”
