Wilder vows to bounce back to winning ways

Deontay Wilder, an American boxer, has pledged to return to winning ways following his shocking defeat to Joseph Parker over the weekend in Saudi Arabia.

Though most people expected Parker to prevail, the Bronze Bomber, Wilder, stammered to an unexpected loss by unanimous decision at the hands of Parker.

His underwhelming performance raised more questions than it did answers regarding his future, especially the possibility of a Joshua vs. Wilder matchup.

Wilder asserted, nonetheless, that he is a content fighter and would soon return to his winning ways.
“I’m still full of happiness, still full of joy, still full of smiles,” said Wilder in the video. “Sorry if I let anyone down, but we’ll be back, that’s the good thing about it.”

“I’m a happy fighter. I’m a warrior, I’ll be back soon. And if not then, it’s been an enjoyment and a pleasure,” Wilder was quoted in The Athletic. “I appreciate everybody for the love and support over the years,”
